Must be comfortable with Occ Health services, OSHA Guidelines, and be DOT Certified or able to become DOT certified.
Provider must have training and knowledge of drug screening and testing Experience caring for worker's compensation and injury cases Knowledge of Return-To-Work protocols Emergency Department or Urgent Care experience is a big plus Managing acute illness/episodic care along with family & internal medicine experience also essential and important Provider may be asked to participate and be part of the employers Safety and First Response Team We utilize two EMR systems on-site at Employer/Worksite Clinics.
EPIC for the Convenience (episodic) Care.
Systoc for Occupational Medicine documentation.
There is also OSHA paperwork required (training available).

Essential Job Functions Collects and documents comprehensive data in a systematic and ongoing process pertinent to the patient's health or situation, involving the patient, family, or caregiver when appropriate Initiates and interprets age-appropriate and condition-specific laboratory tests and diagnostic procedures, analyzes and prioritizes complex data to determine the differential diagnoses and revises diagnoses as appropriate to initiate the plan of care; derives assessments and diagnoses that are developmentally appropriate and specific to areas of growth and development, age, cultural sensitivity, and family dynamics; prescribes appropriate pharmacologic and non-pharmacological agents and interventions that are both universal and unique to the patient, and monitors and evaluates effects.
Develops outcomes as measurable goals that provide direction for continuity of care and consistency among providers; develops, prioritizes, evaluates and modifies an individualized comprehensive plan of care; addresses each diagnosis or issue, as appropriate.
Derives outcomes and plans of care that involve the patient, family, or caregiver when possible and are realistic to the patient, family, or caregiver capabilities and resources; considers risks and benefits, costs, clinical effectiveness, current scientific evidence and clinical guidelines and clinical expertise to formulate interventions, treatments and outcomes; incorporates new knowledge and strategies to initiate change in practice if desired outcomes not achieved; maintains documentation and updates accordingly outcomes, goals and the plan of care.

Summary:
The Nurse Practitioner (NP) Occupational Health scope of practice incorporates the skills and knowledge from disciplines of nursing and medicine.
The Nurse Practitioners provides services for employees to promote health, safety, and regulatory compliance under the clinical supervision of the Occupational Health and Safety Manager.
Essential Functions:
Demonstrates knowledge of techniques, procedures, use of equipment, and departmental policies necessary for job performance Assists in performing new hire/pre-employment physicals Schedules annual physicals, sick visits, and other Occupational Health & Safety-related activities as appropriate Participates in employee wellness or other prevention programs Maintains required records and reports statistics Triages employees with episodic illnesses and/or occupational injuries and reports information to the Nurse Practitioner Other duties as assigned Education:
